First, I wanted to tell you that I think you are the best guitarist ever.
I wanted to ask you a few questions. My favorite solos of you are Night and Forbidden City. I wanted to ask you what was your inspiration when you wrote there?
And I have anther question. My dream is seeing a solo show of you; will you come to show in Israel?

You know, it's surprising just how much mail I'm getting from Israel! One of my favorite moments while I was in Megadeth was when we played in Tel Aviv. I played "Hatikvah" (Israeli song) during my guitar solo, and everybody sang along. I got chills!
Anyway, Forbidden City was made up of a lot of ideas that I had with me for a long time, most of that I had written when I lived in Hawaii. Night was written in a cheap, broken down apartment in Hollywood. I was poor and desperately looking for a gig. Thanks for writing!
