Let's assume that Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax and Slayeras the pioneers of thrash metal music.

Now, with your current musical direction, do you think that you will leave "standardized metal music" (refering to the above bands) for good?
 
     
  MARTY'S ANSWER:  
 
It was great to be a part of the "big four" as they were called, but that was a LONG time ago. All of the groups you mentioned have only achieved continued success by growing and evolving. I can assure you that if these musicians played music the same way they did when 'thrash' was trendy, none of them would be able to afford to continue to make great music. That was a great part of history. Now the real challenge for all of the big four is to do something that matters NOW, and not become nostalgia acts.
