Title : Help with speed and help with finding your own voice

  QUESTION:

Hey Marty, In the past couple days Ive been exploring the capabilties of my Johnson J Station and my ESP guitar hooked up to my Marshall amp to see if I can find my voice and my tone. But it seems like everytime I find something that sounds good on tape, I find that i Hate the way it sounds when its just me in a closed room. Its like, I have tons of treble hooked up when I record a song or something, but when I go into my room in the same settings I find that its way to much treble. When I cut the treble off in my room I find I like my tone when my amp is facing me, but on tape it sounds like crap. If you have any advice please help me. If you know, or could recommend, any excercises to improve my speed on sweep picking arppegios Id much appreciate it. Keep the great solos coming man. Best of luck to you and yours. \m/
