Title : how do you adapt?

  QUESTION:

You started playing hard rock/speed metal oat the beginning of your musical career but your solo albums are a little bit different...How were you able to adapt your playing to different styles of music without losing your identity? Your sense of melody and sensability in your playing is so high that I always know that it is your playing...it's like each note you play enters in my ears and reaches every part of my body...it gives me the chills :-)

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

Thanks Daniel. I don't really adapt to a different style, my melody sense seems to be the same whether I play rock or any other kind of music. I suppose the way it is recorded must be adapted somewhat, but I hear the same kind of melodies no matter what kind of music I am playing. For better or for worse, my style is what it is.
