  Title : "negative" imagery?

  QUESTION:

Hi Marty, love the new album, it fucking rocks!
I read your comments about being turned off by Megadeth's "negative imagery". However, don't you agree that the message that the imagery was putting across was usually a very positive one? Album covers such as Rust in Peace, Youthanasia and the other may seem menacing at first, but they always made you think, and I used to love that about Megadeth. Even the bands name had somewhat of a deeper meaning explained in Set the world afire. What do you feel about this?

Also, do you really think that encouraging people to drive too fast is much more positive than Vic? ;-p

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

`make you think` is all good but I don`t wanna be made to think about depressing stuff like politics, world@problems, etc. I don`t need to pay for that, I can watch the news and get that for free. I wanna hear music that makes me forget all that bs, not that makes me think about it. Get it? That`s just me though, I`m glad you enjoy the music.
