Title : Bouzouki in Cryptic Writings?????

  QUESTION:

Hi Marty,
As i was doing some revision in my magazines i found an interview you gave at the greek Metal Hammer. In that interview which was published right after the Megadeth show in Athens(RockWave Festival 1997) you said that a few songs on Cryptic Writings had some Bouzouki(Greek-Turkish organ) parts but you had to remove them because at that time you didn't know how to play it.Now, my question is:
Do you find Bouzouki harder to play?????
I think that the hardest think about playing the Bouzouki is picking!!! What do you think?????

P.S.:Which songs contained parts with Bouzouki???

P.S.:MUSIC FOR SPEEDING ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.:Thank you for your beautiful music...

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

I used a bouzouki on "Almost Honest" and "A Secret Place". It was difficult to play because the strings were so close together. I don't believe it was removed from the mix though. I think we got a good enough take to keep and we left it in the songs.
