Hi Marty! I have a friend (a drummer) who will not believe an answer you gave before about learning to play guitar by ear. He knows your entire discography from cacophony to megadeth to solo work. He wants to know for real what are your musical backgrounds. He also wonders how it can be that such a musician plays at that level having leart by ear because generally a musician has a theory, practical, and technical part with their instrument. Believe it. If you do anything with all of your energy long enough, at some point you will get good at doing it your own way. I can do my music perfectly. But I could not teach a proper music class, nor would I be interested in doing so.
