i've been playing with my band live for some time now. it has been like eight years or so, but we still play very small places only. i don't know about the other guys of the band, they don't discuss this stuff, but i feel a bit devalued as a musician for playing small places for so long and so frequently... it seems as i haven't accomplished much. i often read some wise views of yours and i know (seen pics) you've played tiny venues and colossal stadiums as well. many thanks in advance!

Playing music for anyone is a privilege. People are busy and if they find time to listen to your music, it`s a great thing no matter how big or small the venue is. The value you should have as a musician is not how many people show up to hear it, but how much you love the actual music you play. Good luck. |
