  QUESTION:

Marty, I have been watching recent interviews of one of my rock heroes. He isn't in his hey-day anymore and says the pressure of those times is one of the few things he disliked when his band sold zillions of records. He doesn't specify what "pressure" means. So, I thought you could shine a light there since you have been on top record sales. What is this pressure? Is it about greeting fans? Is it about magazines? Videos? What about these things build the pressure? Many thanks, Jerry

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

The pressure is constantly having to "better" your previous work, your amount of success, your look, your image and your performance. Even more important is the pressure to stay relevant in the world of music. I can see how people could dislike this. For me, I actually enjoy this kind of pressure and its challenges, it keeps me healthy and interested in what I`m doing. Good Q.
