Dear Marty,
I am a musician and lately I have been angry. Music is labeled as entertainment instead of art. It is almost as I was a clown getting a nice cream pie on my face every night! Can't people perceive art has so much more to tell than a mere entertainment act? I take nothing home for the next day after watching a magician get a rabbit out of the hat. But, after a concert... whoa! Do I get my thoughts and emotions flowing and flowing! I know you are in the music area of activity since a long, long time and have probably heard a lot of things. So, here's my question: do you believe music is art or entertainment?
