Hi Marty,

I managed to get some of your solos right and frankly even pretty good, mostly the megadeth solos, like Hangar 18 and Tornado of Souls. My problem is that when I play alone in my room, I nail the solos, but when I play them to somebody, I always mess them up and it gives people the impression that I totally suck... :( Have you ever had such a period in your first years of playing and what would you advice me to do to overcome this, what I believe to be, stage fright?

Hi Dave,
Start of by playing easier stuff in front of people. They will never know the difference and you wil build your confidence back up. While doing that, over-practice the harder stuff on your own until you are sick of it and can play it in your sleep. Only then should you attempt the 'harder stuff' in front of others. Best of luck!
