  QUESTION:

Hello, Martie. I like very much how you play guitar, especially when you play heavy riffs and solos. In my opinion, you - one of the greatest masters. I am sure that you forgot about music and a guitar much more, than some will ever know. Because of it, I think that you can help me. I played a guitar in a metal band when I was a teenager. We even gave some concerts. And I was the author of all our songs. Then I left this occupation for a long time. But I always had many musical ideas in my head. Now I - 31 years, and I didn't play a guitar for 10 years. It is necessary to note that I never played rather well /at least not as well as I would like/. But musical ideas don't leave me, they need an exit! So question: I should start over again? Am I not "too old" for this? Does it make sense at my age /31/ to spend time on it? - /in particular learning to play the guitar/. Or I should forget to making music? P.S. Sorry for my bad English and cheers from Moscow.

  MARTY'S ANSWER:

You are never too old to play music. Get started and play as much as you can!
